Execution –

The project duration was approximately 16 weeks inclusive of all design, client meetings, fabrication and construction of the works.

The project was performed to the highest quality and safety standards with no incidents and a high level of client satisfaction achieved.

Safety –

As there are substantial risk elements involved with a project of this nature, a detailed traffic and public movements study was conducted so as best to minimise potential risk. As a result of this analysis much of the assembly work was performed off site and then transported to site for installation. This process effectively minimised potentially dangerous machinery, person and aircraft interactions and removed a great degree of potential risk from the project. Another potential high risk was that there were services present, both known & unknown during all stages of construction. This was managed successfully by our isolation and lockout management system.

LinkBuild Construction team and safety personnel worked closely together within the project to best identify and remove potential hazards from the workplace whilst maintaining efficiencies within the workplace.

Quality –

The project was executed utilising LinkBuild quality management systems. All stages of works are verified by way of field inspection checksheets (FIC’s) or Inspection Test Plans (ITP’s) and do not proceed until Construction Manager and Client approval has been given. In the course of normal production, processes are monitored via the reporting of Quality Performance Indicators (QPI’s). Internal and external audits also supplement this approach.

A Material Data Register (MDR) containing all project information inclusive of FIC’s, ITP’s, material registers, material conformity certs, material test results, redline mark ups, warranties, as built drawings and user manuals were presented to the client at project completion.
